With experience as a Payroll Help Desk Liaison, part-time Pension & Welfare Payroll Coordinator, former national Financial Secretary for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and a background in organizational management and public policy, Mincy is ready to bring modern, reliable financial leadership to the union.

Mincy is running for Financial Secretary to restore accuracy, transparency, and accountability to an office that has fallen behind for too long. Years of preventable errors — from duplicate member rolls to IRS penalties — have cost the union well over $150,000 in avoidable expenses. He believes members deserve better systems, clean data, timely filings, stronger communication, and a financial office that actively serves the membership. Rooted in values passed down from Sister Berdell, Mincy’s goal is simple: protect member dollars, modernize operations, and make the financial office accessible and dependable for every worker in the hall.
